The onus is on you moderates and liberals to change the public perception of your religion. But who am I talking to? I might as well be talking to thin air or the wall. Where are these so-called moderate, liberal Christians and Muslims? Let’s first talk about a subject America is a lot more comfortable and familiar with…BIGOTRY!

Rick Scarborough. In today’s society, that’s the face of Christianity that invades the mainstream. America, if you want to know what Christianity is really all about, look no further than the unholy alliance of Rick Scarborough, Ralph Reed, Tom Delay, James Dobson, Robert Sirico, James Kennedy, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, and Charles Colson. We are well versed in Bush’s connections to these religious leaders, and we’ve seen that big money, such as ExxonMobil and Ford has also employed these leaders to defend them in public (http://www.mediatransparency.org/story.php?storyID=11). Bush has been and is a puppet of Exxon Mobil, Pharmaceutical Companies/HMO’s, religious leaders, and military contractors. The men, who make decisions based upon this trust, are Cheney, Rove, and Rumsfeld. They’ve relied upon Tom Delay to get their initiatives passed in the Congress. The religious leaders have made sure that the public buy into this modus operandi by saying that it’s moral and justified all in the name of fighting terrorism. For instance, wire tapping, executive powers superseding the law, and cherry picking classified information to sell a war, and out a CIA operative, has all been accepted as just because the outcry that is usually from the religious sect of this country has been nothing but supportive and condoning of the Bush Administrations behavior. They are in control of the moral subjugation of America and if they don’t make a fuss then no one well, because their voice represents the overwhelming majority of Christian behavior. The greatest trick Christianity or Islam for that matter, played on the mainstream is to make us believe that they are marginalized by liberals or moderates.

On the contrary the opposite it true. The religious leadership, like Rick Scarborough, that was largely helped put in place by the money Tom Delay obtained from increasing the amount of Lobbyist with the K-Street Project (http://thinkprogress.org/2006/01/13/k-street-project/).

Everyone has heard of the old saying, “To the victors go the spoils”, and apparently to the unholy alliance of politicians, religious leaders, and big money, that means they can do whatever they want, and break whatever law stands in their way. They are after all, the unholy trinity blessed by god himself. America has now become the audience to this administrations magic show. Deception and diversion are how they’ve kept their grand scheme working since Bush took office in 2000. One might say that it’s an unholy alliance that was made for each other, and it couldn’t have worked out anymore perfectly than it has so far. All they need to do is come up with the day’s talking points and let their friends in the corporate media use their media darlings to convey that message to America (http://www.counterbias.com/609.html). This is the systematic oppression of American independency and free thinking. Maybe this is the beginning of the end of free thought as we know it, and if you’re not a player in the unholy alliance than you are out of the game.

Furthermore apathy, complacency, and ignorance are promulgating America, and have reached alarming rates. America doesn’t care about ExxonMobil and their influence over the Bush Administration by getting us into an unjust war in IRAQ. Americans like sheep wandering around in a pasture, feel like everything is just fine, as long as the Shepard says so. Everyday Bush, the religious leaders, ExxonMobil, HMO’s, and the military spend a lot of money telling us everything is just fine, don’t worry about the Environment, no health care reform, the national debt, and all the people dieing over in IRAQ. We Americans swallow up that trite like it was on sale at Wal Mart. Keeping America at bay is foremost on their agenda, and as long as you care more about the Simpsons, American Idol, Beauty, Sopranos, or your I POD, than you do about the world around you, than that’s just perfect for those in power. Mind numbing zombies that follow the same routine day in and day out make for perfect consumers and the more you buy buy buy, what they sell you, or eat eat eat, what they feed you, the easier it is for them to keep control. The unholy alliance fears losing power, and they’ll do anything to make sure they keep their power. Unfortunately for them, the war in IRAQ continues to go badly, although lately, how would anyone know, b/c apparently the friends of the administration that run the media had their arms twisted to stop running all that “BAD” press about people dieing b/c of our arrogance and stupidity. OUCH! That arm twisting must have really hurt them.

The unholy trinity of politicians, religious leaders, and big money has done such a great job of tricking America. They’ve done such a great job that Americans now believe Christianity is now the official religion of America, homophobia is a great American pastime, and killing people in the name of democracy is a fine moral objective. America didn’t even needed to be implanted with a chip, as some Orwellian stories have suggested in order to control the flock. All we need is to be told over and over again that everything is just fine, and we need not worry about something that we’re just not capable of understanding, like the globalization of American Neo-conservatism. You can’t really blame the unholy trinity for trying to spread their messages throughout the world, after all, it’s been working so well in America. You need not think for yourself anymore, the unholy trinity will think for you. Just keeping being good Americans and your unholy dictatorship will keep you safe from all the bad guys. And in the name of protecting you, because lord knows (and the bush administration) you can’t protect yourself, the unholy trinity will do anything they want to protect you in the name of their interest groups. The unholy trinity are waiting for the day we’re they don’t need to do all this sneaking around stuff, and lieing, to the future were the American public is so brain-washed that they’ve centered their priorities around television shows. Oh wait, that’s already happened. Well, carry on then.

Have you noticed that throughout the article I’ve not talked about one iota of material relating to the title of this piece, “Moderate and Liberal Christians, an endangered species w/ no backbone.” Good for you if you have noticed that. I did that on purpose. The reason I did that is because there are as relevant to this paper as they are to America right now. If you think I’ve marginalized them in this paper, then you can respect the way that the unholy alliance has marginalized them completely out of the public forum. I’m going to be sending this piece out to my normal crowd of religious leaders that help control the sheep of America, but this time I’ll also be including the so-called moderates and liberal crowd. Those poor, unattractive, socialists, NGO loving, tree hugging, radical Christians and Muslims. It’s a bitter sweet sympathy that is life for these poor creatures. They don’t get any love from the mainstream press anymore, and they’re looked upon as heretics, Gnostics, and liberal pinkos who support ACLU agenda by their peers in the Vatican, and by the leaders of the Evangelical Church. Apparently their message just wasn’t exciting enough or controversial. The old “hey can’t we all just get along”, and let’s be more “politically correct” and accept everyone’s differences with loving arms, message and attitude just isn’t that sexy anymore, and they’ve been lumped into the secular crowd. Oh no, not the secular crowd!

Of course these peace loving Christians and Muslims, would rather “hug it out” and kiss you to death, rather than get in your face, like Rick Scarborough and his crowd would do. They don’t like using that term “war” as much as the unholy alliance does. They prefer spreading the message of love and peace and understanding. Ewww, what’s wrong with them? They sound like a bunch of homosexuals to me. They should take a message from Rick Scarborough, by pushing people around, and making fun of people who are different from them, the white Anglo-Saxon, beer chugging, football watching, gay hating, women degrading, crotch sniffing, gun totting, wargasm loving, cigar smoking, back room dealing, bible beating, casino laundering, porn denying, misogynists.

It looks like the liberal moderate peace loving Christian and Muslim crowd of the 60’s raised a bunch of red headed step children who revolted against their rainbow loving parents and felt that hating one another was the best way to succeed. Amazingly enough, smoking pot and dropping acid has been replaced with spiritual warfare (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2092-2125019,00.html). Look at little Johnny, he said his first bigoted hate filled word today man, isn’t that cute. Dude, it’s like a bunch of Ned Flanders running around today, b/c they’re parents were into Jazz, and smoking pot. Sound like a bunch of frenchies to me, it’s no wonder their kids are growing up to be intolerant bastards who want to go back to a time of gender inequality, mob like hangings, witch trials, inquisitions, and mock trials. Well you see little Johnny and little Suzy were just fine until they learned that peace and love weren’t popular anymore. They found out from the friends on the popular morning TV show, “Fox and Friends”, that hating gay people, shooting Arabs, and telling women what to do with their bodies is the “IN” thing to do these days. If you want to be the most popular kid in school, you have to be the most racist, bigoted, religious, and creationist loving kid.

So why doesn’t America love you anymore you peace loving, pot smoking, rainbow loving liberal pinko communist embracing moderate and liberal Christian and Muslims? You’re message is to reach out to those who are really in need of help to tax breaks, not just ExxonMobil (http://www.truthout.org/issues_06/031406EB.shtml). You want to save the environment when all they unholy alliance wants to do is destroy it by not lowering car emissions, and by building oil platforms, and pumps everywhere in Alaska. Instead of out and out hating people who are different from you, like gay people, you actually have learned to tolerate the fact that god created them too, although you think god still doesn’t want them to engage in homosexual acts, b/c that’s just too nasty for you to accept. You don’t like the Bush Administration and their policies, yet when you speak out you’re told to shut the fuck up by the unholy trinity in a nice letter (http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/features/2006/0604.sullivan.html). What’s the bottom line all you moderate, liberal Christians and Muslims? Are you going to revive your dieing breed and start growing a back bone again? Sam Harris and I are skeptical because there’s an inherent problem with their movement that nobody in their ranks seems to acknowledge. Simply put, “Moderates do not want to kill anyone in the name of God, but they want us to keep using the word "God" as though we knew what we were talking about. And they do not want anything too critical said about people who really believe in the God of their fathers, because tolerance, perhaps above all else, is sacred. To speak plainly and truthfully about the state of our world-to say, for instance, that the Bible and the Koran both contain mountains of life-destroying gibberish-is antithetical to tolerance as moderates currently conceive it. But we can no longer afford the luxury of such political correctness. Certainly that’s a big problem isn’t it my moderate, liberal Christian and Muslim friends. To use a sports analogy, that our unholy alliance friends can understand, obviously the free thinking secularists of America can’t sack the Quarterback, if our moderate, liberal Christian and Muslim friends are protecting them with their line of defense. What don’t the moderate, liberal Christian and Muslim friends want us to find on the way to the QB? What are they afraid of, that we know the truth? That mythical superman of Jesus and Mohammad might actually be a comprisal of men that many writers with many different viewpoints have made up along the way? Is this the right one? Well without any historical evidence and so many different stories, how can one be sure that the whole religion wasn’t “misquoting Jesus” and just made up stories along the way? Excuse me America, what do they say about a house of cards, or castles made of sand? Clearly we can see why our moderate, liberal Christian and Muslim friends are so concerned about their Quarterbacks like Rick Scarborough, James Dobson, and Sirico getting sacked. That might lead to other fact finding missions, and that might lead to an unraveling of the whole darn establishment. Basically even though our moderate, liberal Christian and Muslim friends don’t like sleeping with the unholy trinity, they’ll do so in order to keep up the facade, even at the expense of their cherished causes, like the environment, gay rights, and poverty. I’m sorry that it had to be this way. I’ve always been a big supporter of the liberation movement that you all implore across the great big world. It breaks my heart to see you being cast out of your own house, because you’re not willing to go to war, hate fags, and fuck up the environment for the sake of making more money. I guess you moderate, liberal Christian and Muslim people will always be treated like the communist pinkos frenchies that you are. What are you going to do? You can’t bite the hand that feeds you, nor can you afford to succeed from the main church. It’s a dirty relationship, having to sleep with a pig, but someone’s got to feel like they have no other choice, and that must be you.

As for the rest of the free thinking independents out there, who aren’t Christian or Muslim, it’s an uphill battle, and everyday presents a new challenge. We can’t do it alone. But how can we expect our moderate, liberal Christian and Muslim friends to go against the mainstream? In doing so they might expose their religion as flawed and inherently a failure. We can only hope that occasionally they cheat on their unholy trinity. One thing about our moderate, liberal Christian and Muslim friends, they may cheat, but they always come back crawling on their hands and knees backing for forgiveness. Ahhhh, they’re loyal to the end. Perhaps, we can get our friends to look the other way just long enough so we can take the quarterback out of the game long enough to heal the wounds of the world. Please, oh you moderate, liberal Christian and Muslim occasionally unfaithful lovers, use your skills to distract your partner so we can take back some the resources, like the Human Rights Committee on the United Nations, corporate accountability, Lobbyist reform, handing the country of IRAQ over to the Iraqis, taking away the supreme power given to the Dept of Homeland Security in the name of fighting terrorism, including bringing FEMA back to a cabinet level agency. We’re not asking you to turn to the dark side of the force, just help us help you. It’s a win win scenario for you moderate liberal Christians and Muslims. You don’t have to throw your religion underneath the bus, and we stop the abuse that you’ve taken at the hands of your lover.
